Our Beloved Country

As an  editor, I have written many articles on a variety of topics. But today, I want to express my love and admiration for our beloved country. China, the land of the dragon, the home of the Great Wall, and the country of the hardworking and resilient people. I am proud of my roots, my culture, my language, and my country.

Glorious History

China, the cradle of civilization, has a rich and glorious history spanning over 5,000 years. From the Xia, Shang, and Zhou Dynasties to the Qin and Han Dynasties, to the Tang and Song Dynasties, to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, each period has left its mark on the country and the world. The inventions of papermaking, gunpowder, the compass, and printing have changed the course of human history. The world-famous Silk Road and the Grand Canal bear witness to China's contribution to trade and commerce.

Diversity and Harmony

China is a vast and diverse country, with 56 ethnic groups living together in harmony. The Han ethnicity, the largest group, accounts for over 90% of the population, while the remaining 55 ethnic minorities add color and diversity to the rich tapestry of Chinese culture. The unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence of these groups are exemplary to the world.

Modern China

Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, China has undergone remarkable development and transformation. From an agrarian economy, to a socialist planned economy, to a market-oriented economy, China has achieved unprecedented growth and prosperity. Bright Future

The Chinese dream, the vision of national rejuvenation, is becoming a reality. Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, has outlined the roadmap for achieving this goal through innovation, reform, and sustainable development. The Belt and Road Initiative, the Made in China 2025 plan, and the green development strategy are all part of the grand vision of building a community of shared future for mankind.
